The ingredients are available at home and do not require time and effort in preparation, and we will talk in this article about how to prepare Algerian sorbet, and the ways of preparing a variety of Algerian sweets, which are prepared in simple and easy ways prepare.


How to make Algerian sorbet

Ingredients 

  • Two cups of sugar. 
  • A teaspoon of lemon juice. 
  • A glass of water.


Method of preparation 

  • Put each of the water with sugar in a pot on low heat, and continue to stir the ingredients until the sugar dissolves, and the mixture boils. 
  • Add lemon juice, leave a little on the fire so that it becomes thick, then remove it from the fire and leave until it cools.


How to make sorbet with rose water 

Preparation time: 15 minutes. 

The difficulty level is: Easy. 

The number of servings is: enough for 4 people.


Ingredients 

  • Two teaspoons of rose water. 
  • Three cups of sugar. 
  • Three drops of lemon juice. 
  • A glass of water. 
  • A teaspoon of rose water.


Method of preparation 

  • Put each of the sugar and water in a pot over medium heat. 
  • Mix the ingredients together to dissolve the sugar, and bring the mixture to a boil. 
  • Add lemon juice on top of the mixture, and stir again. 
  • Turn off the fire under the mixture, add blossom water and rose water to it, stir the mixture for one time and leave to cool.

Preparation time: 15 minutes.

Ingredients 

  • Two cups of sugar. 
  • A teaspoon of fresh lemon juice. 
  • A teaspoon of rose water. 
  • One and a half cups of water. 


Method of preparation 

  • Dissolve sugar in water in a medium pot over medium heat until it boils, then leave the mixture for 5 minutes. 
  • Add fresh lemon juice, and let the pot boil for two minutes. 
  • Remove the pot from the heat, add the blossom water to it, and leave the mixture until it cools down well. 
  • The mixture is used cold in recipes for hot desserts; 
  • It is poured cold as soon as the tray comes out of the oven. 


How to make Qato with sweet Turkish and cocoa 

Preparation time: 60 minutes

Number of servings: Enough for 5 people 


Ingredients 

  • Half a cup of powdered sugar. 
  • Five tablespoons of cocoa. 
  • A quarter of a teaspoon of vanilla. 
  • A box of crumbled biscuits. 
  • A slab of melted butter. 
  • Sorbet quantities. 
  • A cup of sugar. 
  • Half a cup of water.

Method of preparation 

  • Put the crushed biscuits, vanilla, cocoa, and caster sugar, and stir the ingredients together. 
  • Add the butter plate over the ingredients while continuing to stir and knead by hand until the ingredients are homogeneous and a cohesive dough is formed. 
  • Sprinkle a little sorbet over the cookie dough and knead together by hand. 
  • Roll out the dough on a flat surface dusted with a little flour, in the shape of a rectangle. 
  • Distribute the Turkish sweetness over the dough, then line it with plastic wrap and wrap the dough, removing the plastic from it at intervals. 
  • Cover the Turkish sweet roll, then keep it in the refrigerator and leave for 15 minutes to firm up. 
  • Grease the roll with melted chocolate through a water bath and cut the roll into circles with a sharp knife. 
  • The circles of Turkish sweetness are stacked in a serving dish, then served cold. 


Prepare the syrup. 

  • Put the sugar and water in a jug on low heat, and let it boil for 15 minutes until a thick mixture is formed. 
  • The syrup is removed from the heat and left to cool well. 


How to make the Algerian almond heart dessert 

Preparation time: 30 minutes 

Level of difficulty: Easy 

A number of servings: Enough for 5 people 


Ingredients 

  • Two cups of finely ground almonds. 
  • Half a kilo of sugar. 
  • A glass of water. 
  • Half a kilo of coarse semolina. 
  • Six tablespoons of fat. 
  • A small cup of rose water. 


Method of preparation 

  • To prepare the syrup, put the water, sugar, and lemon juice in a pot on low heat. Leave for 10 minutes until it boils and a mixture of a thick consistency is formed, then it is removed from the heat and left to cool. 
  • To prepare the almond heart, both semolina and melted ghee are rubbed by hand, so that the semolina absorbs the ghee. Water is added at intervals and the kneading continues to form a cohesive and soft dough and leave to rest for half an hour. 
  • Mix the almonds, orange blossom water, and sugar in another bowl, and continue to stir the ingredients together. 
  • Add the rest of the ghee on top of the rested semolina dough, and knead well to form a cohesive dough. 
  • Spread the semolina dough on a lightly greased oven tray, then place the almond paste on it and spread it out well. 
  • Sprinkle the rest of the semolina dough over the almond layer, distribute it evenly until it becomes layers, and then cut it into cubes. 
  • Distribute the almond kernels over the semolina tray cubes, then brush the face with a little melted butter with a food brush. Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius, insert the tray and leave for 30 minutes to mature and redden. 
  • The tray is removed from the oven and immediately watered with cold syrup while it is hot. Arrange the dessert in serving dishes, then serve warm. 


How to make Al-Jawziya with cream 

Preparation time: 45 minutes 

Difficulty level: Easy 

A number of servings: Enough for 6 people


Ingredients 

  • A glass of milk. 
  • Two eggs. 
  • A cup of coconut. 
  • A cup of sugar. 
  • Half a cup of oil. 
  • Half a cup of flour. 
  • A teaspoon of baking powder. 
  • Two cups of syrup. 


Method of preparation 

  • Put the eggs, sugar, oil, coconut, and milk in the bowl of the electric mixer and mix the ingredients until fluffy. 
  • Flour and baking powder is added to it while continuing to knead to form a soft and rigid dough. The uniqueness of the dough in the oven tray and enter the oven to brown. 
  • Al-Jawziya is removed from the oven, watered directly with syrup, brushed with a little cream, then cut into cubes. Place the cream cheese on a serving plate, decorate it with pistachios, and serve immediately.


How to make Algerian maqrout with fine semolina 

Preparation time: 60 minutes 

Difficulty level: Easy 

Number of servings: Sufficient for 5 people 


Ingredients 

  • Three cups of semolina. 
  • Cinnamon tablet. 
  • A cup of oil or ghee. 
  • A pinch of salt. 
  • A cup of water mixed with rose water. 


To prepare the filling, 

  • An envelope of dates. 
  • Two tablespoons of rose water. 
  • A tablespoon of ghee. 
  • Cinnamon tablet. 


To prepare the syrup 


  • Three cups of honey. 
  • A spoonful of rose water. 
  • For frying vegetable oil as needed. 


Method of preparation 

  • To prepare the dough, mix semolina, salt, cinnamon stick, water, and blossom water in a bowl at intervals with kneading by hand until a cohesive dough is formed. 
  • Divide the dough into equal balls, and leave for a few hours to rest. To prepare the filling, mix the dates, cinnamon, rose water, and ghee in a bowl, and mix the ingredients together until a homogeneous filling is formed. 
  • Spread the dough with the tip of the finger, then add the filling, close and wrap. 
  • Cut the dough into pies. Put oil in a frying pan on the fire to fry the maqrout, leave until golden, then drain from the oil. 
  • To prepare the syrup, mix honey with water and continue stirring well until the honey dissolves. Almqrrot put in honey, then filtered and placed in a serving dish, and served.
