Tandoor is one kind of clay oven, and meat cooked in the tandoor oven is called tandoori. This post will help you to make. Tandoori chicken in oven. So, keep reading. If you want to make tandoori at home it is not easy to arrange a clay oven. So, today I will show you how to make tandoori chicken at home in an easy way with your microwave oven. I will make tandoori for just two parsons with two pieces of the chicken leg piece. Remember, when you will make tandoori you just need to choose leg pieces. because, if you choose from the breast side it will dry out easily. Basically in the restaurant they use a hue to dye tandoori red, some use paprika but I will not use any supplement to dye. Because I don't believe red color is essential. I prefer natural colors. So, here  I will explain to you every stapes very clearly. I hope after reading this article it will be very easy for you to make tandoori at home. Ingredients for Tandoori chicken:

It is very easy to make, you just need chicken, yogurt a microwave oven, and some spices these are very easy to get to your nearest market. Ok, let's see the ingredients...

  1. Chicken leg piece 2 pcs
  2. Red chili powder 1 tablespoon
  3. Turmeric powder half teaspoon
  4. Cumin seed powder half teaspoon
  5. Coriander powder half  teaspoon
  6. Garam Masala powder half teaspoon
  7. Black pepper half teaspoon
  8. Yogurt half cup
  9. Lime juice 1 teaspoon
  10. Soya Souse 1 teaspoon
  11. Barbeque souse 1 teaspoon
  12. Mustered oil 2 tablespoon
  13. Salt as per test


Method 

    1. Prepare the Chicken :

Clean chicken pieces and cut deep slashes to the bone 4 to 5 places on the leg pieces. Cut 2-3 places if you are using separate drumsticks and thighs.


    2. Coat with marinade, Chill:

Then keep legs in to a bowl and add all the ingredients and mix it well. After marinade properly then cover and  keep in a refrigerator for at least 8 hours for proper marination. Better if you can chill the marinate for 24 hours in a refrigerator.


    3. Grill the chicken leg pieces: 

After properly marination just place the chicken pieces on an oven rack and place it in to the microwave oven. Close the door properly, select convection mood from control panel, set temperature at 180° celcius and set time to 40 minutes. After 40 minutes it will be done but don't take it off from oven imidiatly, keep it for more 10 minutes in oven. Then take it off from oven. Now your tandoori chicken is done.





Serve:

Let it rest for at least 5 minutes before serving at room temperature. It’s also great at room temperature or even cold the next day.

Serve with naan, flatbread, paratha, or polaw, with yogurt-based raita on the side.
